Drawing - Beginners & Continuing
Anyone can learn to draw if they can analyze and understand, in visual terms, what they are looking at. This course will focus on developing the student’s ability to see and acquire strong basic drawing skills. We will see how composition and the overall design of the page is the starting point for a strong work of art and move on to explore spatial relationships. Some class time will be set aside for critiquing student work. Additionally, there is some individual attention to each student’s work to assist the student in pursuing his or her own style and interests. Taught by Michael Serao. Michael Serao has been employed in art and photography for over 20 years. He has taught many drawing, painting, and photography classes and also teaches design at WCSU. There will be individual instruction to insure your growth and emphasize technique. Taught by Sally Aldrich.
