Basic Wire Jewelry Techniques
Learn to make jewelry using hand tools and sterling silver wire. Students will complete projects designed to teach basic techniques. The instructor has prepared cost-effective kits containing silver wire, beads finding, semiprecious stones or glass Beads. The cost of each kit is approximately $15 - $20, payable to the instructor at the first class. Each kit is designed to teach students how to make standard wire elements and clasps used to make jewelry. Students need to purchase some tools to bring to the first class; click here for a list of the required tools (costing approx. $36-$40), specific instructions as to where to purchase them (and why). Taught by Lisa Dawson. Lisa Dawson studies art at Pace University and a variety of art centers. She has been creating wire jewelry for over 30 years and teaches in NY, CT, and in her studio in Stormville, NY.

Jewelry Workshop ~ Beads Beads Beads!
Viola Galetta will conduct a workshop on jewelry making. Students from prior classes are welcome back. Enjoy the fun of making your own beaded jewelry. Select materials to match your own style. Custom made jewelry by you will make a lasting gift. Participants make a complete project at each class. The average project costs $10 and up depending on which materials you select. Wire Wrapping Jewelry for Beginners
Students who would like to take jewelry designing / making to the next level using wire will enjoy this practical hands on course. No experience necessary. You will learn how to create simple and elegantly styled necklacles with pendants, stones, earrings and bracelets, rings, using minimal tools for projects. Materials used: different guages of dead soft wire, stones, glass, other findings. Materials can be purchased from instructor for approximately $15-20. Taught by Viola Galetta. Crocheted Necklace with Beads
During this class you will learn to make an exquisite crocheted necklace by using thin artistic wire and European glass beads. You will learn to make a handcrafted closure also. If you don’t know how to crochet, no problem! You will learn quickly. The instructor will supply wire and beads. A materials fee of $30 is payable at the first class. Crocheted Bracelet & Earrings with Beads
Anyone who loves crocheting, or just wishes to learn, this class will give you the opportunity to apply crocheting to jewelry making. We’ll make a beautiful set of bracelet and matching earrings. Easy, fun and enjoyable project. We will use artistic wire and beautiful European handmade glass beads. Bring a crocheting hook size D. Instructor will supply wire, findings and beads.
