classes and tutorials will be taught by the instructor live
online or at the Continuing Education Center, located in
the Town Hall Annex or
at one of the schools.

Word and PowerPoint
365 are available on
our PC's. If you have 365 (or 2021 or 2019) on
a laptop, you may bring it. Instructor projects on Zoom
using 365.
Introduction to
PowerPoint 365
Prerequisite: Basic word processing skills. This
introductory PowerPoint class covers the fundamentals of creating dynamic presentations.
Students will learn to design engaging slides, add text and images, incorporate
animations and transitions, and effectively deliver their message. Perfect
for beginners looking to master presentation software. Instructor Charles J
Greenberg is an experienced academic librarian with long-term appointments
at both Columbia and Yale Universities. He was the founding Library Director
of Wenzhou-Kean University in Wenzhou, China from December 2013 to June 2019.
He then joined the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine as Health Sciences
Library Director from January 2020 to November 2023. He currently is a lecturer
at Camden County College, teaching English Composition, as well as a lecturer
for the School of Information for San Jose State University, where he has taught
online medical and health sciences information topics since 2007.

Intermediate
PowerPoint 365
Prerequisite: Basic PowerPoint skills. This
class is designed for users already familiar with PowerPoint basics. Learn
advanced features like exporting a slide as an image, slide master, and custom
animations. We will also cover integrating multimedia, displaying data, and
presenter view. Instructor Charles J Greenberg is an experienced academic librarian

Introduction to Zotero
This introductory course will teach you to master Zotero, a free and powerful
research tool. Learn to effortlessly collect, organize, and cite sources from
the web. We will cover creating bibliographies in various citation styles and
integrating with word processors for seamless paper writing. Also using Zotero
for class notetaking. Works with Google Docs too. Instructor

Word and File Management
Prerequisite: Basic computer skills and knowledge of the keyboard. For
students with gaps who want to solidify their experience before moving forward.
We will create and edit simple letters and documents using Word. Includes Copy,
Cut, Paste, Open, Save vs. SaveAs, Print and Fonts. We will also cover basic
file management, find files, create folders and desktop shortcuts.

Word and
Excel Basics
Prerequisite: Basic computer skills and knowledge of the keyboard. For
people who need to fill basic computer skills gaps and learn how to get started
using Word and Excel. Learn to create and edit simple letters and spreadsheets
using Word and Excel. Includes copy, cut, paste, open, save vs saveas, print,
margins and beginning formulas. We will also cover basic file management, find
files, create folders and desktop shortcuts. Instructor Peggy Bruno, a certified
teacher, has developed computer courses and trained several thousand adults
in computer applications for over 25 years. She previously worked in corporate
marketing and information services. She has also taught Microsoft Office at
the community college level. She holds a BA and MA from the University of Pennsylvania
and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Word 365 Enhancements
Prerequisite: Word Basics, Microsoft Office Skills or equivalent.
Review formatting (copy, cut, paste, fonts, line spacing, margins,
Format Painter).
Create and customize tables. Customize bullets and numbering. Insert page numbers,
headers and footers. Insert, crop, and wrap text around photos, clip art, shapes
. . . Learn how to find and replace text and then finish with customizing the
Ribbon and the Quick Access Toolbar.
